Thom Bresh -  Pickin' Party

(Thom's website)  (Video clip of the day)

Thom Bresh arrives in his neat little convertible.  I love that license plate:
'THUMB'

It was a beautiful day for a Pickin' Party....
Local pro, Chaz Mechenbier, came and set up one of his "helfty" PA systems for Thom's concert - then, ran out to an afternoon gig, himself.

THANKS, CHAZ!!

Mr. "Digital" loves to tell his stories.  We loved to hear them.
New member, Brent Rosenthal, talks with Thom. Our thanks to John Morgan for putting Brent in touch with us.

Audie Wykle lead off with a wonderful set for Thom.  JD Norman helped out.

I was rather worried that Thom might have been a little offended that we lead off with a local that's as fast and good as Audie is.  He let me off the hook by saying,  "Hey, Palmer - Buster B leads off for me, too.  I'm used to it."

Bresh and Chaz setting up.

Thom ripping off on his dual sided acoustic.
Then, he brings out his signature D'Angelico electric.  WHAT A SOUND!!!

A great crowd came to here Thom entertain.  And, oh what entertainment he could produce.  He's a talented guitarist, singer, song writer, comedian, and impersonator.
Club organizer, Palmer Moore, was one happy dude that this Pickin' Party was a giant success.  Thanks so much for coming all the way up from Nashville to make this day such a special one, Thom...

Thanks to Arnie Alpert and new member, Brent Rosenthal, for remembering to bring a camera....
